A big squishy duvet of a meme

It's the excuse you've been looking for to play soft, fluffy things.
- Sharing is caring: You notice that the other person is in need of something--a beverage, or a space on the couch, or what-have-you--and you're willing to share.
- Oh no oh no I'm sorry: You accidentally hurt them in a minor way, oh no!
- Pets are cute: You're both cooing over something fuzzy. Kitty? Doggo? Tribble...?
- Can't sleep: It's way too late but you just can't sleep. Fortunately you're not the only one up.
- Stop and smell the roses: It's just a wonderful day to stroll around and appreciate life.
- It's not that scary: One of you has to face down a fear--heights, wasps, planes. The other person is there to help.
- Waiting for bail: The old saying, a good friend will bail you out--a great friend will be in jail with you, saying "that was fun!" Maybe a friend you didn't even know you had before today.
- Cooking: Nothing brings people together like sous-cheffing for each other.
- Viewer's choice! Idk man there's a lot of soft scenarios in the world, make up your own!

He shook his head with a worried smile. Of course, Crowley would worry about him before himself. What was he to do with this demon?]
No. No one came to mess with me. I've been perfectly safe. It's you I'm worried aout.
no subject
Right. Alright. Good. Good good.
[ Because he isn't sure he would have it in him to get rid of them at this moment. ]
no subject
[He spoke softly trying to soothe him and get him to calm down. His eyes narrowed making note of that reaction, moving to stand behind the demon looking his back over.]
I've got you. I also don't like the look of this. What on Earth did they do?
no subject
Does he taste burning? That’s something he wish he couldn't remember.]
I’m fine, angel.
[ He says as he’s getting up to go check on the front door weapons, and ending up tripping over the side table and nearly ending on the floor. But he saves it. All good, all god. That’s fine. He’s fine, ]

[He moved after him and took a firm hold of Crowley. He huffed and steered him to sit down again. He turned to Crowley with a firm frown on his lips.]
Stay.
[It was a command a sharp order rather than a gentle suggestion like he usually used when trying to coax Crowley into something. He went to the doors and made certain they were locked and everything was secure.]
no subject
He smells the way, sniffing out any demonic or even angelic presence besides their own. Nothing. Should be fine. Probably Shax just trying out her new position in the ranks of Hell.]
no subject
Now, dear, I'm going to just vanish most of your clothes so I can get a proper look. Is it just your body that I can see or did they get your wings, too?
[He snapped his fingers vanishing most of Crowley's clothes, except for his slacks. His clothes appeared in a neat stack near them but Aziraphale was more focused on Crowley taking in his body with worried eyes.]
no subject
His body doesn't have too many visible marks. A couple of bruises here and there, some burns. Black scales dotting his torso and shoulders here and there, but that's more to do with the stress of the situation.]
no subject
[And he thought, He was the stuffy old-fashioned one. He hummed and moved to his feet fetching another bowl of water. It was a cool bowl and Aziraphale placed it on a little table by the chair.
He used the warm water and a flannel to clear the burns first making sure there was no dirt of debris in them.]
What on Eath did they use? Hellfire can't burn you like this can it? I'm almost absolutely certain it can't. And holy water.. they wouldn't be stupid enough to use something that could hurt them as well.
no subject
He does mostly sit still, but only for a second until an otherworldly hiss escapes him when the first burn is touched.]
Satan’s arsehole, angel, watch it. [ He complains before he can help it. It’s not like he hasn't felt pain before - he IS a demon, after all, and Hell isn’t a nice place, obviously - but feeling pain on his actual corporation is a rather rare thing. It’s not fun. Not fun at all.]
no subject
[But he's doing his best to clean those wounds then once he's done that he digged his fingers into the cooler water and was holding a thick gel a moment later that he carefully coated those burns with. He was going to assume a couple tiny miracles would make it work better.]
This should pull some of the pain out and heal them a bit faster. I wish I could just bless you well but I know that would only make this worse for you.
no subject
I don’t know what they used, couldn’t really get a good look at it. Wouldn’t put it past them to get more desperate than they are fearful.
[ Had they been pushed far enough that they would work with angels? He doesn’t know anymore. Things were so different nowadays.]
no subject
[Can't be hellfire. That wouldn't hurt Crowley like this. Holy water would but that would be stupid. So stupid of a demon - then again. Crowley had used holy water, hadn't he? Then there was the matter of Michael and the bath. Crowley hadn't exactly made any friends Downstairs after everything they'd done..]
You might be right. They've done it before and I'm certain that Hell considers you a rogue agent and a threat. I wish there was some way to make it so they can't take you away like that. You'd think they'd leave us alone after everything.
no subject
[ But demons are real good at holding grudges. Part of their whole thing.
The bruises seem to be fading fast, already changing colours as the two of them speak. Its still strange that they appeared altogether, but they’re easy enough to get rid of.
The burns, though. Those are still confusing.]
We should lay low. [ A pause.] But they already know this place.
[ Should he leave for a while, make them lose his scent? Or would leaving Aziraphale alone leave the angel too vulnerable?]
no subject
[He frowns a bit watching the bruises fade. Well, there was that at least. But it was the burns that concerned him the most, they seemed to be the worst of it.
But they don't seem to be growing as he would have expected if Crowley was exposed to holy water without being able to dry off and wash it away. And he can't sense any kind of blessing from them - or perhaps his senses have dulled?
There was a thought.]
Yes, they do but it's also the safest place to be here. I've strengthened and restored the protections here over the shop.
[He reached out for a cloth bandages this time. Then he was carefully covering up those newly tended burns.]
And you shalln't be going anywhere without me.
no subject
He regards the angel with a serious look. ]
If it turns out it's safest to lose them that way, I will. [ Said defensively, although he doesn't like the idea of leaving the angel to fend for himself at any point. ] But best not to do anything stupid now.
no subject
[He cleaned up everything once he finished the bandages.]
We'll check them in a few hours but if they start burning let me know and I'll check them again. We will figure out how to mend you.
no subject
He grabs his sweater and pulls it over, ready to cover the pitiful visage of a demon that actually got himself hurt. ]
It's fine angel. There's bigger things to look out for.
no subject
[He miracled Crowley's clothes back nice and neat and turned away from him letting him have a bit of privacy to get comfortable again. Ah, there it was yet another thing they would always and forever disagree on.]
Can you think of why they came for you this time?
no subject
He grunts.]
Hell if I know. Shax wants her turn at trying to tear me apart? Guess she took over that part of the job too.
no subject
I remember her. I didn't like her. I would have thought she would know better than to attack you.
[There's an annoyed angel and a frow twisting his mouth.]
Pity I couldn't have splashed a few of them with holy water when I was down there. They would have learned the lesson better.
no subject
…right. Wouldn’t likely made them angrier, though.
no subject
[A pause.]
You're right. One would think seeing you survive an entire bath of holy water would have put some fear into them.
no subject
[ His body feels less a hey. But it feels heavy. Whew.]
