A lot is her mentor's influence: Oberon is her Merlin. That makes her actions more devastating. She is aware she isn't a larger-than-life heroine as Artoria or Aesc (there's even a section where she sees Artoria's life and literally can't understand her at all), and even admits she could never best Morgan, but that's ok.
