[ooc: Castoria's an interesting case, because she starts the story refusing the Call and hiding away from it. She's also jaded and cynical and definitely has unheroic reactions. A lot is her mentor's influence: Oberon is her Merlin. That makes her actions more devastating. She is aware she isn't a larger-than-life heroine as Artoria or Aesc (there's even a section where she sees Artoria's life and literally can't understand her at all), and even admits she could never best Morgan, but that's ok.
