It would also be a big spectacle for the eremites too

(Had he known she was comparing him to cats of all things he probably would have looked at her like she had grown a second head. The thought aside, Alhaitham is already scanning the hole for anything else that could be an issue knowing that if unlucky there's the possibility of the eremites stumbling upon them too; though he would not be mentioning that for the time being. Not unless he starts to hear them of course.

He didn't need Nilou to potentially start to stress further than necessary. His rationality can be a blessing and curse to others in that regard though the sages would be remiss if they did not dare come to find him knowing he's not only excellent at his work, but, he also does get results even with their grievances amongst one another.

With that aside he frowns at her words, boosting her too? He is looking it over to see if he can do that now as well; he'd have to have tight timing on the throw and execution if he's seeing this correctly. Enough that Nilou would have to move quickly unless she wanted to near fall which would be its own set of problems if that occurs.)

Mm... if I do that the problem is making it to the top as well, unless we use our resonances applications to cause vines to grow themselves and carefully keep applying it which is another thought. That being of course if anything dangerous were to stumble upon us.

(Eremites and other things still coming to mind but that goes without saying on his part.)
