If Ezra hadn't already had a very good idea where to find Obi-Wan Kenobi, the young Jedi would have never wound up here. Of course he grasped that conditions on Tatooine were harsh, so wherever Obi-Wan resided most of the time probably wouldn't be considered nice, not by most standards.
But surely, it wasn't much a stretch to assume that a grown man - a resourceful Jedi Master - would have carved out a home that was better than the comms tower young orphaned Ezra had hidden himself away in? Better equipped on the inside, at least.
So perhaps he can be forgive for immediately blurting out, voice edged with distress and anger, "Master, what is this?"
Maybe he's got it wrong. Maybe this is some kind of temporary camp?
