Did you pack socks?

The Traveling Meme
You're on your way from point A to point B, and you've chosen one of the many forms of communal conveyance to do so! Let's see what your trip looks like today.
- Train: The Orient Express if you're feeling fancy, your standard intercity line if you're not, but no matter how humble the train there's always a little bit of romance to the rail.
- Plane: It may be the type of travel we least look forward to. Go ahead and stuff your character in coach--unless they're one of the blessed few who can afford knee room in business class.
- Ship: The heyday of the grand passenger liners, a tall ship (preferably with a star to steer her by), or the ferry.
- Bus: Whether it's a school bus, a Greyhound, or your regular commuter ride... we know you're not wearing the seatbelt like you're supposed to.
- Stagecoach: Some old-timey fun!
- Airship: Listen, JRPGs had it right when they decided these should be a normal thing.
- Spaceship: For that sci-fi feel! To boldly get Ubered where no one has Ubered before.
Scenarios
- I brought a book for a REASON: You're just trying to make this journey in peace and quiet but for the person in the seat next to you....
- Stalled: Well, now you're really not there yet, because your mode of transport has stopped working--thrown a wheel or can't get off the tarmac or lost the breeze. Better figure out something to do in the meantime.
- Stand and deliver! Dammit, it's bandits, or robbers, or some other kind of ne'er do well--or maybe you're the one pulling the heist.
- Running: Not literally, obviously, but you're trying to get away from something bad. Let's hope it's not catching up to you a few seats down....
- Disaster! This isn't just inconvenient, it's catastrophic! Good thing you're here to save the day, right? ...Right?
- Actually having a nice time: It's just pleasant to sit and look out windows while someone else does the steering, you know?

Can't spell 'strained' without 'train'
You can meet anyone on the subway. Including a teenager with horns, covered in bruises and cuts, with an ancient bronze puzzle box on his lap. He fiddles with it thoughtfully. Though he's so beat the chances of him solving it are drastically reduced, with his mental capacity reduced by the long adventure he's clearly been through. It's probably for the best- the thing looks super cursed.
"âŚYou any good at these?" He asks, glancing up from his artefact to whoever is sitting directly across from him.

"Uhm?" It's a sound of 'I heard you' more than an answer, eyes focusing on the kid across from him before the box, ears filtering out background noise and focus on what was asked, then answers before the kid can repeat himself. "Sometimes." He looked around, finding a pair of empty seats. "Here, come over here " He got up to talk over to them.

But it's probably a good idea, because the puzzle box looks so cursed. The fewer people around when it's fiddled with the better.

The wobbling concerns him, and he wished he was better at Force Healing, but he knows he can help a little, if he's allowed.
Seated where they can sit beside each other with the box between them, it gives Anakin a fair better space to poke at the box. And a place to cover overs, if he needs to. The box bleeds Dark.
Even if the boy doesn't. "Name's Anakin, by the way. You mind if I?" He motioned picking up the box.

He didn't look like the friendliest sort with the piercing orange-red eyes glaring at everyone and so the wizards and witches traveling were giving him a wide berth. One of the nastier ones even commented on allowing 'savage fae' to travel among 'decent wizards', loud enough for Borra to hear. What a pity he couldn't just string the offender up in the roots of some nearby trees and be done with it. But he had to behave himself for the moment until he got to his destination.
Alas, by the time Harry got on board, the only spot available left was by the Dark Fae. Despite a rather feral appearance, he didn't bite....probably.]

When he got inside the bus though, he notices a bunch of wizards and witches staring at a Dark Fae with sharp horn, bright wings and orange red eyes, wondering what is going on. It is when he overhears another nasty wizard commenting on the sole fae passenger on board when it dawns on him that the Fae are not safe from such a nasty attitude from the more unsavory members of wizardkind. As much as he is tempted to cast a silencing spell on the wizard in question, he canât simply do that in public without getting confused dagger eyes from everyone else.
Having witnessed so much unsavory things in the wizarding world (discrimination and the looking down of non human wizards included)and getting stares from people thanks to his infamous reputation, Harry, a half blooded wizard, couldnât help but to feel sorry for Borra even if neither of them have met before as he approaches the Dark Fae.)
Oh hey there. Is it safe for me to take the seat next to you? That is if you donât mind having some company for even just a short while.

[Borra echoed. Then he snickered, showing off the long canines in his mouth, much longer than they would be on a normal human being. They were proper fangs alright.]
Some of them-- [He made a sweeping gesture towards the others on the bus, his eyes resting particularly on the rude wizard who had made the comment about him.] --would say Dark Fae are never safe to be around. [Then he turned his attention back to Harry.] But if I meant harm to anyone here, I would have already done so. You'll be fine sitting by me.
[He even folded up his wings as a gesture to show he was friendly enough to be around for the moment. One hand came up and rested underneath his chin. He stared at Harry in a way that most people would have considered rude. But Dark Fae had different ideas on manners, especially when it came to interacting with human beings.]
There is something familiar about you, human. Strange...
[Even Harry Potter was known among the Dark Fae, though having only heard descriptions of the young wizard, he had no idea he was face-to-face with the famous Boy Who Lived.]

Once Borra folded his wings to let him sit down him with Harry, he lets out a big sigh of relief as he takes his seat with a Dark Fae. There are a chorus of confused voices echoing in the bus about his decision to sit next to Borra but Harry is too tired to pay them any attention.)
Oh gee, thank you so much. Iâm quite glad that youâre very generous to let me sitting next to you on this bus today.
