Two hours from cloud to earth

snowfall
Snow... that curiously peaceful, curiously quiet, curiously magical winter weather. And here you are out in it.
scenarios
- It's a winter wonderland, just where you want to be.
- The best part about snow is getting inside and having some hot cocoa by a warm fire. Or something stronger, perhaps?
- There's nothing like snowfall to inspire artwork--men, angels, snow goons... and it's just the right consistency to do what you like.
- Or perhaps this means WAR. Incoming!
- Actually, wait, no, you didn't mean to be out here in the snow, and this is kind of bad, or maybe it is very bad. This is why Mom always told you to bring thermals!
- wildcard! it's snowing do anything.

He flexed his powerful wings and took off, landing up in the treetops where it would be harder to spot him. He paused there, silent, watching, and waiting to see who would draw near.]
Sorry, work has been crazy
We lost the trail, lads. Two of ye go scout around, see if ye can find any signs. Rest of ye, let's get the horses cooled down an' watered while we wait.
[The owl took off from his leather glove and landed near to their observer. It watched him silently with eyes that were far too intelligent for a mere bird.]
No worries!
When the owl landed next to him, Borra stared back at the creature. He noticed the preternatural light in the creature's eyes.]
And what are you doing here? [His voice was low as he murmured to the bird.] On a Wild Hunt, are you?

[The antlered man stared up at Borra and the owl and gestured at the ground where the fae hunters were taking care of the horses...some of whom changed form to drink and cool down in a more human guise. A big bear of a man walked up beside him and stared up at their visitor in the tree, though from the way he narrowed his eyes and raised his head to sniff the air, it was debatable whether he saw Borra. RuaidhrĂ turned to Eoghan, smiling.]
Let's take a break, we've been runnin' hard all night. Get the lads to start a fire an' roast some of the game we've caught. We'll break out the wine an' make it a proper meal. Doubt we'll find that bastard what got away, anyway. He was makin' the hounds proper nervous.

I have not seen you in these woods before.
