I don't need to read cards to tell you to stick with it, you'll find people who appreciate you eventually. I promise they're out there.

Quite the opposite, I'm very... flexible about the truth, but I've observed the reactions of others to either. A number of people, including some who should know better, prefer a comforting lie than an uncomfortable truth. At least on the surface; there are people who appreciate honesty, but will snap at you because they can't snap at the source of the problem.

You know you're invalidating my entire reason for existing with this common sense approach, right? What can I do for a living now? Become a baker?

"Do you spend a lot of time around people who you feel aren't very much like you at all" was the question. And if I think it might be rude then it definitely might be rude, I'm usually not great at telling.
