["Kind of sad" describes so much about Yunyun and her life, really, but things have been on a more positive track lately. And gosh, Albedo, you're really gonna make her out and say it? Forgive her getting all cute and bashful, poking two fingers together and everything.]

We...we got together. We're dating. Me and Megumin...are dating.

W-Wait... really?

[YUNYUN of all people, was no longer single?]

Aaaaah! Yunyun, I'm so happy for you!

[This is a very surprisingly girlish side of Albedo VERY rarely seen outside of Nazarick's walls, and almost never seen in Nazarick's walls for that matter!]

[She's flapping her wings in excitement, shaking the girl's hand in congratulations. She was a pseudo unofficial recruit of Albedo's to the sorcerer kingdom and Nazarick after all, so she was practically like family?]

Tell me all about it! Have you two kissed yet? Did you confess to her, or did she confess to you?! Would you like to invite her to Nazarick?

[Oh...! This is so nice. Yunyun had been bracing herself for disbelief--she'd forgotten about Albedo's in-love-with-love side. She laughs as they shake hands. See! This is friendship in action!]

We've...we've kissed, yes. [And done other things that bring a blush to Yunyun's cheeks, but she sweeps on for now to describe the confession:] And, um...well, it started with one of these gatherings, you know? An especially embarrassing one where everyone's crushes were revealed to everyone else. Ms. Darkness--you know her, I'm sure, she's one of Megumin's party members--happened to stop by, and she went and told Megumin...which I'll admit I was mad about at first, but now I'm grateful.

Ah--and the invitation--I'm sure she'd appreciate it. [A polite little while lie.] But Megumin's...actually got a lot of plans about a kingdom of her own, so...

[It was why she and Rem hit it off so well as friends, and as embarrassing as it is to be one of Yunyun's friends she didn't mind when it was this kind of thing!]

Oh no, that sounds like it must have been horribly embarrassing! That Crusader truly is a crazy woman!

[She'd probably have flayed Darkness alive if she'd ever done something like that to her, but then... Darkness would probably enjoy that so it would be counter productive. She truly was a demon's worst nightmare.]

I am happy it worked out for you in the end though!

Did you say... a kingdom of her own? Is she truly that delusional?

[Megumin is capable of using super tier magic, so that sort of power could go to one's head... but she was practically useless outside of the one spell. She kind of worries for poor Yunyun's future if she feels determined to support Megumin in this mad scheme of hers.]

So am I. For a bit, it looked pretty touch and go...Megumin was, uh, surprised, to put it lightly. But...it led to us talking, really talking [~~shouting~~], and by the end of that talk, well...we were together!

And--and it's not delusional! You should ask her about it sometime! She's really put a lot of thought into it.

Oh my! Together you say?

[She honestly didn't think Yunyun had gotten laid and was just teasing her.]

[Buuuut then she just groans and puts her head in her hands at Yunyun's blind optimism and faith in her girlfriend. It's endearing but...]

Yunyun, I've been working with Lord Ainz and Demiurge to conquer the world for nearly half a decade or more. If anyone knows a thing or two about running a kingdom it's me, and I do not see that girl being capable of it.

[Granted she didn't think it was possible for Lord Ainz to subjugate the Baharuth Empire to the point they'd become a vassal state within just two days either. Perhaps she needed to hear out this plan sometime to really let Megumin face some harsh realities about the difference between a chuni child and the supreme being Ainz Ooal Gown! ~~Who is clearly the superior chuni?~~]

[That extra, teasing emphasis on "together"...one might expect it to fluster her, and, well, she does start blushing harder, but sort of just averts her eyes shyly as opposed to freaking out.]

Yeah...together.

[Ahem. Then she clears her throat, collecting herself. Moving on!]

Not too long ago, I might've agreed with you. Back before we left the village, she'd talk sometimes about how someday she was going to defeat the devil king and take his throne...it always seemed like a lot of hot air. But it's come up again again recently, and, um, like I said, she's got all these plans...I understand that plans only mean so much, but still, I think she's really got serious ideas about rulership, about what she'd do with that kind of power. And so I want to take those ideas seriously too. I want to support her.

[Albedo simply isn't lesbian enough to pry further into it. Actually she was almost completely Ainz-sexual so women were more often than not seen as a threat, and women getting together with other women was a removal of potential threats. It wasn't the main reason she supported Yunyun, but it was up there.]

You're dead set on this aren't you?

[On the one hand she doesn't want Yunyun just following some delusional girl's blind quest for power, on the other hand Megumin wants to subjugate humanity in another world, which is something Albedo wholeheartedly supports. What to do...]

Well it's not ideal, but you are a pseudo member of Nazarick. If you wish to help conquer a world that Lord Ainz doesn't plan to rule, I think that still aligns with our objectives.

[She's trying her hardest to remember what she does know of Yunyun and Megumin's world. If she had a map of the surrounding nations it would be easier, but alas.]

Neither of you are necromancers, so the biggest obstacle I believe you'll face is finding an adequate fighting force for a conquest. You are both skilled spellcasters, so if you are capable of teaching your magic to others you might be able to acquire a small army of elite spell casters to make up the difference in fighting force. Alternatively if your people can be convinced to join you, a breeding program so that more children are born in your clan might work even better.

[She seemed to recall Demourge had some projects where he was trying to breed humans.]

I might even suggest you implement a law that all women will receive a monetary incentive for every child they bear, since they are your fledgling kingdom's most valuable... resource.

[Then she groaned as an awful memory came to mind.]

Ugh... Now I'm sounding like my sister Negredo.
