HOLED UP
You and whoever replies to you are stuck together after falling in a hole.
You're in a deep, dark pit that you can't climb out of easily, and you're trapped together. Maybe it was a trapping pit, maybe it was an open manhole cover, maybe an uncovered well or elaborate secret trap in a spooky house - but whatever the cause was, you two fell for it. Literally.

[He's clearly proud of this, but the smile only lasts for a moment before he realizes what he just said.]
That's it!! My signature spell, Oasis Maker, lets me produce large amounts of fresh water with only a little bit of magical power! We could just fill this hole up until the water's high enough for us to climb out!
apologies, it's been a week with a capital W
Oasis Maker? [It does sound like it would be effective. She looks up at the high walls...] I suppose we could... but how strong a swimmer are you?
no worries, it was similar for me! I hope things have settled down for you though ;w;
[But, the way that she says that... He looks up again and tries to think about the actual logistics of flooding the hole with water. It doesn't seem like it should make swimming any more difficult than usual, but is that truly the case? There's only one way to find out, but it'll be too late to turn back by the time he would realize it's a mistake.
Of course, he has exactly 0 other ideas.]
Hmmm, but maybe it would be best to start filling it slowly? That way, we should be able to adjust to it as it rises without creating too much resistance.
[If that makes sense? He's not really sure if that's what could happen, but he assumes that something like that is her concern.]
slowly getting on top of it!
It makes Sarah smile, even as Kalim hesitates and modifies his idea.]
That sounds like a better idea. I wouldn't want to be submerged all at once, and we'll be able to acclimate to the temperature better as well.
