You and whoever replies to you are stuck together after falling in a hole.

You're in a deep, dark pit that you can't climb out of easily, and you're trapped together. Maybe it was a trapping pit, maybe it was an open manhole cover, maybe an uncovered well or elaborate secret trap in a spooky house - but whatever the cause was, you two fell for it. Literally.

[Serperior's eyes gleamed and he tried to reach up higher, but still couldn't reach.]

What...? [Trip followed his Pokemon's gaze up and heard a voice! Trip tried to get back up, but struggled, given he couldn't stand on one foot, so slid back down.]

Y-yeah! We fell in. I lost my other pokeballs too, so it's just me and Serperior here.

[So, he couldn't rely on any Pokemon that could float or fly or use Psychic... hopefully, they aren't far!]

Hold on! I'll be right back!

[Bea rushes back to her rest area and reaches in her bag for supplies, in nature you need to be careful after all. She pulls out some rope and she signals her machamp that she needs help.

Tying it to a nearby tree she tosses the rest in the well.]

Both of you grab on! Me and Machamp are going to pull you up!

[Nodding to her Machamp, they begin the pull up Trip and Serperior]

Right!

[A little nervous, but glad there's some kind of help coming, Trip waited, Serperior coiling back down, both to conserve some energy for whatever's coming and to support his trainer.

A rope! Trip grabbed it when it reached him and Serperior twined the end of his tail to it too.]

... we aren't too heavy together, right?

[A ten year old and his large snake twice as long as he is tall, can they pull them up together at once?]

You kidding. You wouldn't even be the heaviest things I lifted today

[She and Machamp slowly pull them back up, careful not to lose thier grip or be too rough, with her Machop and Hawlucha cheering them on on the sidelines.]

[They're going up! Trip held fast to the rope and Serperior curled all the way around the rope when he realized it was safe and secure and wouldn't be too much trouble.

Yeah... sorry, I guess I should've known.

[It's easier to see now, not only was it a very strong Fighting type Pokemon but also a very strong-looking Pokemon trainer.]
