Stranded... out there
Disaster. Your plane crashed, your boat holed, your guide has left you stranded in the depths of the wilderness. Certainly, your surroundings are beautiful in their way, but we all know that nature is long on majesty and short on mercy. And unlike those guys on the Discovery Channel, there isn't a Motel 6 around you can pop into.
- Desert. Whether it's cacti and hardpan, or dunes and sidewinders, you'd better find an oasis fast. And take care... it gets cold at night.
- Jungle. Ah, the rainforest, that thriving hotspot of biodiversity! ...and just as many toxic compounds as there are species.
- Tundra. Doesn't matter if it's Farenheit or Celsius, the thermometer is too many digits in the negative. But hey, at least there might be penguins.
- Mountains. You might be hungry and windburnt, but the view is unmatched. Watch that first step, it's a doozy!
- Savanna. Lions and termites and baobab, oh my... Never mind looking for food, you might be food if you aren't careful. And stay out of trenches with too many wildebeest.
- Deep forest. The woods are quiet, dark, and deep. Do you know how to tell edible puffballs from Destroying Angel? Better learn quick.
- Deep space. Maybe the ship has lost its engines and is drifting towards nowhere fast, or maybe it's a space station long abandoned, but you know what they say--no one can hear you scream.
- Island. Let's face it, it would be nice, if it had been your idea to be here. Where did the Swiss Family Robinson find all that stuff, anyway?
- Motel. Never mind, there is a Motel 6. No, wait--Motel 5? Oh boy. You really wish they hadn't left the light on, because nothing it reveals is something you want to see.
Problems:
- Weather: It's turning for the worse and you need a place to hide.
- Hostile wildlife: Whether it's looking for lunch or wants you off its patch, this is going to be a problem.
- No luggage ...or anything else, including food, water, or shelter.
- Hurt: Perfect time to practice making splints out of sticks!
- Other! Listen, it's a big world, it has lots of ways to make you miserable.

Her things are one of a kind and there's only one person who is going to be more pissed than Anakin.
Artoo.
"Yeah. And abandoned." He still has his com to contact the droid friend too. "Let me tell Artoo so he can be on the lookout on the holonet, you should have him talk to," it only takes him a minute, "Ellé to be ready to slice documents too."
"Speeder's spot is long cold, so it's been a while." Chasing was possible, but would be fruitless without a swoop, he thought.

"We'll figure this out." she soothes, "Artoo is clever."
Sensing his anger, she goes to him and wraps her arms around his waist.
"It's fine. You're safe and that's all that matters to me."

Still her touch, as is her presence, is soothing. It doesn't extinguish the heat of his anger, but it does cool it. He's glad they are both safe - it wouldn't be the first time in the galaxy robbery turn to something more violent or that a rich noble was held for ransom or worse. And if he had to bring his saber to play (and would over her) it was likely to eventually get out.
He'd do it anyway, rather than have her come to harm.
Anakin smoothed back a stray lock of her hair - she must have still been deciding on what to do with it when he'd come back up, he thinks - and takes the time to wrap and curl it around his finger before gently untwisting it out. "I'm more glad you are safe. Not that people who rob their tourists shouldn't suffer some consequences." He's not as heated as he'd be with Obi-Wan, he realizes. Because Padmé will at least hear him out rather than shut him down and tell him to Be Mindful Of His Feelings and that Revenge Was Not The Jedi Way. This wasn't revenge, it was melting out a warning to stop before someone got hurt or worse.

Robbery is unfortunate and it should be punished. Not everyone is as lucky as they are and it's likely the robbers knew their identity - or at least realized it during the robbery. No wonder they had refused to fight! Anakin is a figment of nightmares for thieves.
She likes the way he toys with her hair - the curls are loose; she definitely hasn't finished styling the chaos. But she's almost glad she paused because it gives him something to focus on besides his anger.
"I agree." she strokes over his cheek, "Others could be hurt or killed if they interfered. I know why the robbers didn't dare to wake you." and she had been safe at his side.

Anakin kept playing with her hair. There had been times Shmi's hands or wrists had been injured, and Anakin had helped her put up her hair. Or he'd unbraid it and brush it for her. And really when he could help Padmé with her hair, he enjoyed it. It wasn't often he got to. Generally, her handmaids took her hair down and put it up for the evening. Occasionally she'd wear it down and he could play with it as they cuddled, but still.
"True. We'll find them." In the meantime - they had a hike back to the shuttle service. "Do you have enough hairpins to put your hair up?"
