We've all been there: great game idea, but you don't have it in you to run a whole-ass game. That's where a gen meme comm can help. You can throw us a premise, or throw us a premise and some prompts, and we'll stick it in some pretty code and put it up as a TDM. People can come in, put some prompts in their toplevels, and go wild.

Guidelines
» You don't have to come up with TDM prompts yourself, but if you put in a premise, then I'll come up with them based on what you posted and I may ask for others' input.

» Unless you ask to be anonymous, I'll credit your journal/plurk/handle when posting the TDM.

» You don't have to go through this post if you want to put up a faux TDM, this is just an option if you don't want to post it / code it yourself.

» The premise should either be yours or belong to an established canon.

» TDMs based on an actual previous game in journal RP will not be allowed unless you are one of the people who ran it or you have their permission.

» The gen community rules still apply! Not a place for a faux TDM for a game based on smooching or other such activities.

Use this post for questions or for reporting issues! If you're reporting a problem or rule violation from another player, please provide some form of evidence of their behavior.

» You can post any type of meme so long as the premise is a gen one. That can be IC "Two Truths and a Lie", a seasonal weather meme, some kind of AU, a TDM for a game you don't actually have time to run, etcetera.

» This community is for people who want some casual RP where they don't have to make the barbies smooch. That may be you this afternoon, or it may be you all day every day, but when it is, you can come here.

» That said, if things get shippy organically, we're not going to put you in the stocks or anything. It's just not the default expectation.

» Membership to this community is open. If you want to join and post a meme, please do!

» I myself will be posting a meme and/or faux TDM a couple of times a month, but I don't have a set schedule. Feel free to post your own meme anytime.

» Because this community isn't likely to have memes posted with the same frequency as Bakerstreet, tagging or being tagged on memes that have been up for a while is encouraged!

» Include content warnings in the meme description if your meme has triggering content (violence, gore, etc).

» Please remember to use the tags for your memes! If a tag for your category doesn't exist, feel free to add it.

» All memes posted on this comm will be advertised on the official mod plurk (bridgescribble), but advertising in other places (eg crossposting to bakerstreet) is the poster's responsibility.

» Don't stretch the page with your header image. Some of us browse from phone screens and/or tiny layouts.
