Most of us want to play the lead, yeah.

But it sounds like you've done more than most actors will get a chance to do. I'm still studying so unless you count the stuff we do in school, you're dealing with a no part guy.

But I did the the lead there, and the guy who's directing is a pain in my ass but he's the son of real directors, and he's making a name for himself, too.

You're correct. I make very little money from telling people things they mostly don't want to hear. Was that a lucky guess or do you have experience?

Quite the opposite, I'm very... flexible about the truth, but I've observed the reactions of others to either. A number of people, including some who should know better, prefer a comforting lie than an uncomfortable truth. At least on the surface; there are people who appreciate honesty, but will snap at you because they can't snap at the source of the problem.

Evolution's a harsh mistress. Some species get limbs and eyes and the freedom to roam; some of us get to be small and soft and need a host body to meaningfully interact with the world. So, we do what's necessary.

Hard to say. Never lived in the before time, the pre-war books I've seen makes me think this place isn't so different.

We get a lot of that in the Wasteland too, people leaving that is.
