You and whoever replies to you are stuck together after falling in a hole.

You're in a deep, dark pit that you can't climb out of easily, and you're trapped together. Maybe it was a trapping pit, maybe it was an open manhole cover, maybe an uncovered well or elaborate secret trap in a spooky house - but whatever the cause was, you two fell for it. Literally.

Well. That was quite a tumble, wasn't it? [In spite of her mussed hair, askew glasses, and undoubted bruises, Fuu gives her new companion a friendly smile.] Are you feeling all right?

[It was a trip and a tumble and it was about all Larcei could do to not accidentally impale herself on her own sword when she landed, but land she did--

--and now she can get a good look at who fell with her. Clearly a noble. More specifically, clearly a noble who is actually in possession of his patrimony. She tries to scramble to her feet, but her scrapes and bruises keep her from being nearly as fast as she'd like.]

[What... happened? Suddenly, the ground just seemed to open up, and the only thing Kalim's really certain about is that he fell. But he's not alone; the voice that calls out to him and jolts his senses confirms that. He opens his eyes and looks around; it's dark but there's a bright light shining up above, enough to illuminate the person at his side.]

Oh, I'm fine. Just a little surprised! What about you?

[ Her fall is accompanied by another scream, loud and shrill and Brad's flattening himself against the wall, shivering a little. He was just formulating a plan! He was going to get out of here! He was totally capable without her!

But now someone's here, and Brad breathes to himself: ]

Intelligent hilichurls, thieves, trappers, pranksters... long story short she's a little guilty over getting him stuck with her. It was okay if she sprained something by herself, but now that someone else is involved... ]

(Although he is not quite thrilled, the scribe in question has a migraine already. On one hand if this were Kaveh the two of them would be heavily arguing the entire time that he were busy trying to form some manner of way out; since it's not on the other hand, his mood differs drastically. With momentary silence and him making sure that he kept his book he was reading safe, as well as tucking it away in his pack, he isn't too fazed by the turn of events.

He'll figure out something then.

Digging might be out the question but he can handle the heavy lifting of it if he must; though with a degree of care since if this hole were to collapse... that would be that for them, not an outcome he suspects the dancer would desire either, mind you.)

That said, he's quite disoriented because it's that strange sensation again, like he's just been transported somewhere else entirely. Of course, there's the added bonus of suddenly falling and for quite some distance. Before he can even process this fact, he comes to a halt, albeit a bit softer than anticipated. But of course; he's landed on someone. He never did get to experience the "falling from the sky" trope before, so maybe he was past due for this...

But wait— What if he landed on a cute girl!? This is the opposite of what's supposed to happen!! They should be landing on him instead! He quickly tries to lift himself up to make sure that's not the case, though it does seem as though he's landed on someone a bit more sturdy.]

Ow... Sorry about that. [And that's when he notices the familiar face beneath him.] Hey! What are you doing here?

[ Well at least he had his book, so he wouldn't be bored waiting for help with her. She was content to let him sit in quiet, not one to prattle on for hours herself. Though she did pipe up now and then to see if he had any ideas or to ask a question. But he's right, the hole caving in on them further was definitely not an outcome she wanted. Although Alhaitham saying he was a "feeble scholar" ... the definition of feeble must have changed recently! ]

[ She glanced up towards the hole opening thoughtfully. ]

We fell pretty far after all. [ But maybe climbing out would be an option if they had to. ]

I seem to be unscathed as well. [And with that established, she gets up, running an eye over this stranger and an eye over their surroundings. It's a hole, and it's dark. There's an area of deeper darkness that might indicate a tunnel.] Now... who are you?

[He's in a good enough mood despite them, indeed. He does take a moment to look about as well... but, yep, it's pretty dark. Hard to make out much of anything.]
