Ahahah. We're resilient! And we were on the Reverse Side when that happened. [ Aesc averts her gaze. ] There are humans too, but, mm, they are a creation of fairies. Most fairies regard them as their belongings.

It's fascinating, isn't it? This is my first time outside the Rain Clan castle. The worlds seem so vast.

Have you traveled to many new places recently? Britain is lovely, but I am also curious about what is outside.

Mostly to a country called Japan, on the far side of the world from Britain. It's a lovely country.

King Arthur is always fighting, isn't she? She read all about those twelve great victorious battles. ] What did you like the most about it?

The people I met there were very kind and good for the most part. They also had excellent cuisine.

...unfortunately they were rather bland in my time, but I've been assured they improved later.

That might not be a bad idea. Good nutrition does wonders for morale.

I don't know. I've eaten apples and I've liked their crunchy sweetness. But all the prepared food in the castle doesn't "taste" right. [ At least, she assumes a biscuit shouldn't taste sour. ] Most fairies would see a picture of the finished meal and recreate it with a miracle, but they don't know or care about "the contents" or the process of making it. They skip that.

...I see. Perhaps they should experience proper cooking and that might persuade them of its usefulness?

Oohh. I see. Maybe if they ate good food, this land's fairies would be better behaved?! [ From henceforth, she shall be now as Aesc the Chef. ] Um, never mind that! But I still think it's worth a shot if I could learn to cook for my parents.
